Division Administration

Leadership and management responsibilities for the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources are vested in Robert E.  Whitson, OSU Vice President of Agricultural Programs and DASNR Dean and Director. Decisions are made with input, as appropriate, from the Associate Dean or Director of each of the three parts of the Division - the College, Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station, and Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service - and the Assistant Vice Presidents of Program Support and External Affairs.

Division programs are highly integrated largely by virtue of leadership for all programs being vested in the Dean and Director. Centralized management facilitates integration via joint appointments in various combinations among teaching, research, and extension. Most faculty members hold such joint appointments. Centralized management also promotes opportunities for collaboration and cooperation among faculty and staff.
