Achievement Banquet
Held each year to recognize 4-H members for their achievements during the past year. Medals, certificates and awards will be given. Also recognize Kay Co. Volunteer of the Year; Friend(s) of 4-H; Adult Leader's Service, etc.

Bread Show (watch newsletter)
Members show their bread baking abilities. Workshops held prior to show.

4-H Camp Entry Form
Designed for all youth enrolled in the 4-H club program. Members learn through participation in workshops and recreation activities, CABINS ARE AIR-CONDITIONED!!!

Impressive Dress Rules and Clothing Construction Rules and entry  form.
Members complete sewing projects. Impressive Dress teaches members how to select garments and develop self-confidence and poise while dressing right for the occasion. Beginner Construction Patterns are available. (
apron, tote bag, laundry bag, pillowcase, garment bag)

County Record Book (forms) (submit Entry Form with book) (Check newsletter for due date.)NEW RECORD BOOK FORMS! A record book is a summary of all of your 4-H club work. A record book reports what, where, when, why and how many. It is not intended as a scrapbook. You may use either the new or older version of the county forms. Purchase from County Ext. office for $3.00.

Family Fun Nights
Held throughout the year where members and their family can participate in games and activities.

Flower & Vegetable Guidelines
Held in summer months to show what they have learned about growing flowers and vegetables. Bring completed list with you on day of show.

Teen Float Trip (registration form) (Watch newsletter for information.)
Overnight float trip held in the summer with families.

Food Show and Tasting Fair
LETTERING ON POSTERS SHOULD BE READABLE FROM 10 FT AWAY! Provided opportunity to learn how to read and follow instructions in recipe preparation. Learn the importance of the basic food groups in the daily diet. Understand the principles of nutrition as they relate to health, physical fitness and appearance. Acquire and demonstrate skills in planning, purchasing, preparing and serving tasty, attractive and nutritious meals and snacks.

Job Readiness Event (Intermediate 12-14 Senior 15 and over) Registration form and information
This is an individual event which recognizes members who communicate a personal understanding of and ability to perform specific job requirements. Seniors will do this through written materials and a job interview, while intermediates will be evaluated on written material only.

Jr. Achievement Trip Point Form
A trip earned by Junior members (13 and younger) based on a point system. Trip is taken in the summer. Must complete point system entry form and have accumulated 35 points. Submit form with County Record Book.

Junior Livestock Show
(Refer to Livestock Rules and Regulations)
To promote 4-H and FFA youth work and provide initiative to keep young people striving to learn more about our free enterprise system. To teach good sportsmanship and create a feeling of good will between all people, rural and urban. Held end of February or first of March.

Annual event to exhibit completed projects from past year's work. Held 2nd week in September each year. LETTERING ON POSTERS SHOULD BE READABLE FROM 10 FT AWAY! Beginner Construction Patterns are available. (apron, tote bag, laundry bag, pillowcase)

Ronald McDonald (watch newsletter)
Fund-raiser for Ronald McDonald House.

Share-The-Fun Entry Form
Talent sharing activity held annually. Winners qualify to go on to the district level.

Speeches and Demos
Opportunity to display and improve public speaking talents. To qualify as a Roundup delegate you must give Talk or Illustrated Presentation. LETTERING ON POSTERS SHOULD BE READABLE FROM 10 FT AWAY!
